Suspend basic insurance (military)

If you're required to do more than 60 consecutive days of military, civilian or civil protection service, you can suspend your basic insurance. We need your call-up papers.

How suspension for military service works

  1. Notify service: Let us know you will be doing military, civilian or civil protection service at least eight weeks before you start. We need your call-up papers for this.
  2. New policy: A new policy is issued whenever basic insurance is suspended during military service.
